The Luxembourg Team Leopard Trek using the new bike Trek Madone SSL 6.9. All athletes have access to the same technical material. The picture shows Fabian Cancellara bike’s used in Montepaschi Strade Bianche, in which the strong Swiss rider did not make any major changes to the bike except the adoption of more tubular section. The new frame Trek Madone 6 Series is hand-built Trek headquarters in Waterloo, Wisconsin, USA. The frame has a declared weight of just over 800 grams, thanks to the use of a carbon developed by Trek and called SSL Technology, the carbon fiber is then layered with a special production process, so as to minimize the bubbles air. The frame is characterized, then, by a long vertical tube, to obtain a semi-integrated seatpost and improve the rigidity of the area. The tapered headset have bearing 1 inch and 1/2 and 1 inch and 1/8, while the Asymmetric E2 fork have asymmetric shape of his head, so as to better withstand the different stresses. The fork legs are semi straight. New is the central movement, over size, with standard BB90, providing lighter weight, smoothness and stiffness than the conventional standard. Interestingly DuoTrap sensor, integrated into the frame and invisible, revealing speed, cadence and distance is compatible with the main measurement tools available today. Over size oblique and horizontal tubes, while the rear triangle is compact and lower section pipes. The bike is then assembled with the Shimano Dura Ace Di2, adopted for the controls, brakes, sprocket, chain, front and rear derailleur. The crank is equipped with SRM power sensor. The pedals are Speedplay, while stem, handlebar and seatpost are Bontrager. The battery is located under the bottom bracket. Also, the saddle and wheels, with carbon fiber hubs and rim, are Bontrager. The tubes are Schwalbe. Without doubt one of the most beautiful “Pro Circus” bike, well-kept in graphics, has all the components of high-level perfect assembly. A bike stiff and responsive, very reliable and that fits, for his riding abilities, to each racetrack. Excellent.
