The team Adria adopts the new TF2 Fondriest, a monocoque frame 3K carbon unidirectional. Aesthetics, like all Fondriest’s products, it is very organized and particular. The horizontal pipe section is flattened and wide, with a curved profile which departs from the steering tube and comes vertically down the pipe, wrapping it up and go to the rear dropouts. The seatpost has aerodynamic profile and a unique closure that fits perfectly in the line of the frame. The seat tube follows the aerodynamic profile of the seat, touching the rear wheel, thanks to compact wagon. The tube section is particularly generous, as generous as the wrapping of the box of the bottom bracket. The steering tube is short whit generous section and aerodynamic profile, also this component has an aesthetic that is characterized by the special and unusual forms. The fork, also monocoque, has a slight curvature and well sized. The frame has a stated weight of 990 grams, while the fork weighs 340 grams, the casing is available in 5 different sizes. The bikes team are all assembled with Campagnolo Record, but a 10-speed, from the same group are the cranks, the gears, the controls, the brakes. The wheels are Mavic Ksyrium SL, the pedals are Look. The tyres are anonymous. Stem and handlebar are signed 4US, while the particular seatpost is signed Fondriest. The saddles are Selle Italia, according to the different demands of the athlete. Overall a good bike, no light, but aesthetically very refined, technically in line with the budget of the team.
