One of the best bike of Prof., assembled with care, to limit the regulatory burden and a more technical equipment for all athletes

Team Lampre NGC has provided for all athletes, the new Wilier 101. The new bike home Wilier has introduced several new techniques, the first of these is its full monocoque construction, with the rear which is a single structure with the main triangle, improving the stiffness and weight.

The box of the bottom bracket is more big than classic, but compatible with all the movements now in power trading, which ensures an increase of rigidity greater than 39% compared to other realizations. The boat seat post is integrated, for the first time on a Wilier, and this also helps to increase the rigidity of the chassis, and weight reduction. The rear dropouts are integrated into the rear of the structure by increasing the rigidity of the whole. The sheaths of asymmetric rear facilitate the passage of the chain and compensating forces due to traction of the same.

Finally, the carbon fiber used, produced by Mitsubishi, can withstand a pressure equal to 46 tons per square mm. The frame weighs about 1.180 grams, equal components around 120 grams less than the “old” Wilier 100. All athletes have the same technical material, with minor differences between the different bikes, due to the preferences of athletes. The stem, andlebar and head set are Ritchey, all versions of top range, light and reliable. The stem, for example, is the model for all 4Axis, forged aluminium, lightweight and rigid. The saddle is Selle Italia SLR, Ballan takes a custom one with the iris, while other athletes may adopt different models, according to their preferences.

The group adopted is the new Campagnolo Record 11 speed, adopt in full, and with controls, brakes, front and rear derailleur, chain, crank 39/53 and 11/23 sprockets pack, at least in races for sprinters. The pedals are Look for all.

The wheels are Fulcrum Racing Zero for tubulars. These are the popular Vittoria Evo CX, but Ballan, for example, in the Donoratico race, with uncertain weather and wet roads, has preferred to adopt the tubular Vittoria Evo Pavè as 700x24, while the others have adopted the classical measure 700x23. All ciclocomputer take the Garmin 705 with heart rate and cycling counts, even in this case Ballan has its own customized version with the iris. Ultimately the Wilier Team Lampre NGC is one of the best bikes between professional teams, its frame is innovative in design and manufacturing, light and rigid, in that it combines a high-level assembly, with one of the best groups currently provision, a minor component and always wanted to top. A well assembly, truly perfect. Strange, that in the race of Donoratico, none athlete has taken the wheel in carbon with high profile, but the choice of Ballan to take tubular Vittoria Evo Pavè shows how their preferred the safety and reliability in a race which provided difficult weather conditions are.
