BicyclesWilier Triestina Cento1 SLR for Team Lampre
The riders of Team Lampre received their new Cento1 SLR bikes during the training camp in Darfo Boario Terme, in the presence of the Ceo of Wilier Triestina, Andrea Gastaldello, and of the team's general manager Giuseppe Saronni. This bike is the most sophisticated racing version of Cento1 Superleggera, the flagship of Wilier Triestina. The average weight of the monocoque carbon frame is 920 grams. The colour is dull black. SLR represents an example of an extraordinary balance of light weight, lateral stiffness and strength. The stiffness-to-weight is unrivaled due to the use of the world's most sophisticated carbon: 30 Ton for resilience in low-stress areas and the incredibly strong 60 Ton where applied loads are greatest. ZnO (Nanoparticles Zinc Oxide) resin are used for low-void integrity, as well as LIT molding for maximum compaction. Also, the Special Weave carbon skin provides impact resistance and vibration dampening. The oversize and integrated bottom bracket utilizes precision CNC alloy inserts to shave grams while optimizing power transfer. The monocoque carbon headset cups are constructed in mold to further reduce weight SLR is the perfect mix of technology and style, Wilier's best contribution to the forthcoming victories of Alessandro Petacchi, Damiano Cunego, Michele Scarponi and all the other riders of Team Lampre.
