Wilier SLR 101 Team Lampre-ISD is the same as in regular production model, was born thanks to the information that athletes have provided to Wilier. Compared to 101 Superleggera, hence, the frame keeps the production of carbon fiber monocoque high modulus T60, T46 and T30, arranged according to different areas of the frame, so as to have the strongest carbon fiber in the most stressed and the lowest possible weight in the less subject to workloads. This allowed to reduce weight to about 920 grams, in the average size. The fork weighs about 360 grams. The frame SLR 101 shares from 101 Superleggera different geometric. The top tube is longer, while the head tube is lower, as it is more compact than the rear, but the wheelbase is longer. The bottom bracket is lightened by a process of CNC milling machines, the cups of the headset are carbon monocoque. Does not change the forks straight and the general aesthetics of the frame, with an area of the central movement Over Size, as well as the down tube and the horizontal. The very short head tube, with the headset separately. The chainstay and seatstay has tubes that are joined by the bottom bracket and top tube with large areas of hardening. Typical the integrated seatpost. The bike Damiano Cunego, since Giro d'Italia 2010, features a custom graphic yellow fluo especially for Damiano. Wilier also proposed in the list, alongside the official colours of the 101 SLR, matte black, with white and red graphics. The Lampre-ISD cycling team bike are then assembled with the Campagnolo Record 11s version 2011, with the crankset with ceramic bearings and single-pivot rear brake. The group is obviously used to complete, with commands, front and rear derailleur, sprocket, chain, crankset and brakes. The micro seatpost is Ritchey WCS, while the handlebar is FSA Energy Classic aluminum, the stem FSA K-Force OS-99, aluminum-coated carbon. The saddle is a San Marco Racing Team Condor. Both the seat, stem and handlebar, vary from athlete to athlete, to taste. In addition, during the test, conducted at the beginning of the season, all athletes, including Cunego, make tests on different materials to choose what they prefer. In 2011, the team then moved to some other components Ritchey to FSA, this has meant that all athletes want to experiment with different products FSA, and then choose the one that best suits their own characteristics. The pedals are Look Keo Blade, but always with a view of the utmost personalization can vary from athlete to athlete. The wheels are Fulcrum Racing Speed XLR and in general throughout the vast park Fulcrum. The tire are common Vittoria Corsa Evo CX, the bottle cage Elite and computer Sigma. Thus assembled the bike Damiano Cunego has a weight of 6,350 kg without pedals are reached about 6,550 kg with pedals. The bike is then weighted with lead that is placed on the inside of the frame in the lower area near the bottom bracket, not to influence the driving behaviour of the frame. So the bike Damiano Cunego reaches a weight of 6,830 kg, including pedals and 30 grams above the regulatory limit of 6,8 kg UCI, engineering controls to avoid surprises.
