Team Lampre-ISD uses the model Wilier Chrono for time trials. The frame is custom made and, unlike all other competitors, is not a monocoque, but bandaged. The fork stem plates and aerodynamic, while the head tube is very short. The headset classic is with bearings to 1 inch and 1/8, while the horizontal tube and oblique are not as over-size, as on other bikes time trial. The rear triangle is made with the generous section, while the dropouts are aluminum alloy. The seat tube has an aero profile and hosts the integrated seatpost. The bike is then assembled with the Campagnolo Record 10v, brakes, crankset, controls, sprocket, front and rear derailleur. The controls for the brakes are Vision, as well as aerobar, the stem FSA, Fulcrum wheels are, complete with Vittoria tubulars. The pedals are Look, Time, the Elite bottle cage and San Marco saddle. It's a bike away from competitors for a number of factors. The frame lacks a true aerodynamic and even some elements of the effectiveness of which is definitely established, as the positioning of the brakes. Campagnolo should give to the Team its group for time trial bikes, just update. Also in the Fulcrum's catalogue do not have real time trial wheels. The mechanics do what they can and the assembly is perfect, simply lack of adequate technical components to address the increased competition.
