The new Wilier 505 29er is the first Wilier Mtb 29er.

This is not a model of high-end, rather than an entry-level, highly refined, high-quality, in style Wilier. The frame is aluminium with new geometries that are specific to 29 inches. It tried to get a compact frame and the excellent handling, an approach that would allow easy even in smaller sizes. The head tube is short and with a headset by 1 inch and 1/8; enhanced the good and the sloping section of the main triangle tubes. Very compact rear triangle, to have a very limited distance, to the advantage of handling. The tube houses the seat of the classic 31.6 mm. The bike will be available in two different colour combinations, one for each type of assembly (Shimano XT and Shimano XT Mix). Four sizes available. Even the components of this model are WARP (Wilier Racing Parts Advanced), with stem, handlebar, wheels, seatpost and saddle with custom graphics (X10 Prologo). The bike is assembled with the Shimano XT complete with commands, disc brakes, crank, sprocket, chain, front and rear derailleur. The fork is a RockShox Reba Dual Air RL with 100 mm of travel. The wheels have hubs Shimano M66 and rims WARP XC300. In the XT Mix version, however, change the commands, the crankset, brakes and derailleur (Shimano always though), the wheels are identical, while the fork is a RockShox Recon Silver PopLock.
