As always the bikes Lampre team are among the more cultivated and refined. With the 2010 season the team was equipped with the new chassis 101 Superleggera. The frame is made in the most stressed areas, carbon fiber T60 (resistance of 60 tons per square millimeter), while elsewhere in the fibers are used T46 and T30, less rigid. In the frame Superleggera carbon fiber prepregs are compacted more evenly against the sides of the mold, removing accumulations of resin, making the interior surfaces smooth and absolutely regular thickness, reducing the overall weight at the same strength and stiffness. The head tube has caps in carbon, but not differentiated, fully realized with the frame, so no gluing later. The headstock is very short and the fork has straight stems. The bottom bracket insert is provided with internal aluminum CNC, with a weight saving of 18%. The seat post is integrated and the rear stays very compact and with large pipes, tall ones join after the rear brake and then embrace and unite themselves to the seat post tube. Now characteristic asymmetric profile of the tube side chain, a solution introduced by Wilier and later taken over by other manufacturers. The Damiano Cunego’s bike is then completed with the Campagnolo Record used to track, then commands, front and rear derailleur, crank, sprocket, chain and brakes. The bottom bracket bearings are ceramic. Stem and handlebar are Ritchey WCS series triple butted aluminum, the ciclo computer is the new Garmin 505. The pedals are the new Look Keo 2 Max White, while the micro seatpost is always Ritchey WCS and the saddle is a San Marco Zoncolan. The wheels are Fulcrum, we see in photos the model Racing Speed XLR high profile, with hubs in carbon and ceramic bearings. The tubulars are the classic Vittoria Corsa CX, while bottle cage are Tacx.
