Least two important news by Scott in 2011, both for Mtb: 899 Scale and Genius LT.

The first is the heir of the stairs, with a monocoque carbon frame entirely revised and declared weight of just 899 grams in a version with BB30 bottom bracket. It will be also a version with a traditional bottom bracket. The new frame has abandoned the aluminum inserts for complete conversion to carbon fiber, and now is about 70 grams lighter than the previous stairs. The rigidity of the frame is increased between 10 and 15% depending on the different areas. New fix the rear brake caliper and also the new integrated seat clamp directly to the tube. The fork keeps a travel of 100 mm.

LT Genius is the second news for at All Mountain, with a full travel adjustable from 185 to 110 mm. LT is in fact the acronym stands for Long Travel. All new, in this case, the carbon frame lighter and stiffer than the last. New rear suspension and revised the DT Swiss shock linkage. Also new is the fork and specially tyres made Schwalbe at the rate of 2.35. Besides the carbon frame, which will be present in two different assemblies, this model will be supported by a model with an aluminum frame, with the same technical features, but less demanding in price and in two assemblies.
