Orbea has presented his new bike Top Range: Orca 2011. Heir of the famous Orca has been deeply reviewed in every detail, though maintaining a clear "family feeling" with the previous Orca. The frame has been redesigned and now has more lines of hose stretched and sharp. Remains the monocoque construction but has occurred on the sections and thicknesses of all the pipes, thus saving as much as 14% of the total weight of the frame.

All revised the rear stay, now much more compact and rigid, as well as more aerodynamic.

The down tube is large and well sized bottom bracket adopting the standard BB30. The tube has a new profile and joins the seat tube with a design reminiscent of the old Orbea, but that is entirely new and harsher light. New vertical tube that follows the profile of the rear wheel. New steer tube that houses the new set of differential steering, bearing 1 inch and 1 / 2 and 1 inch and 1 / 8.

New stems from the fork with aerodynamic profile and also the new seat post: the Selle Italia Monolink with dedicated saddle. Still new sizes available with 6 sizes for men and 5 women's geometry. And yet, the new internal cable designed to improve the fluidity and smoothness of the action themselves.

Orca only remains of the old name for a bike very interesting from a technical standpoint and that is an excellent development of the previous model.
