In fact it is compatible with the BB30 standard, but the shape of the bottom bracket is different, much more rigid BB30 classic, even without increasing the weight and the Q-factor (distance between the cranks). In this bracket is combined with the crank Rotor 3D.

The fork is always a Cervélo project, dedicated to this frame, monocoque; has straight legs and a declared weight of 330 grams. The steering is Cane Creek and again we have a new standard. The lower bearings have a diameter of 1 inch and 3/8 while the upper 1 inch and 1/8. This solution provides the same stiffness of the bearings 1 inch and 1/2 and 1 inch and 1/8, but are lighter and less stressed frame and tube. The solution adopted by Cervélo improves comfort and reliability of the frame without compromising the rigidity of the head tube and fork. Series also 3T Doric LTD seatpost with zero setback to further reduce weight. By all measures the angle of the seat tube is 72 degrees; there are no specific sizes for women, because it has been completely revised the geometry of the frame that now has a different way to indicate the measures. That leaves the rear with very thin vertical tubes and horizontal ones larger especially near the bottom bracket. The cables run outside, while the derailleur is mounted on a base which is part of the frame. Also new is the cable guide plate on the bottom bracket, created specifically for the new bottom bracket and improves the cables and the smoothness of the same. Series also the seat clamp, alloy wheels with titanium screws.

In America, the frame kit is priced at $ 9,800, while the complete bicycle with Campagnolo Super Record is priced at $ 12,170, rising to 14,000 with Shimano Di2.
