A new bike for Merida in 2011, Reacto.

The new carbon monocoque frame has a profile of the tubes with a semi-aero design. The series of steering has conical bearings and full carbon fork weighing 325 grams. The fork blades and down tube have a dual chamber structure, while a number of internal connections stiffen points higher stresses. The carbon fibers used are high and very high UHM / HM produced by Toray and Toho, nano-reinforced matrix. The full-carbon fork has continuous orientation of the fibers from the forks to the crown until integrated into the core, while the dropouts are carbon.
