On test: Bianchi Oltre Team Vs MCipollini RB 1000 Vs Wilier 101SLR

After the road test here a direct comparison between the three teams pro bikes: Androni Giocattoli, Lampre-ISD and Farnese Vini-Neri Sottoli

After analysis of these individually is now time to make a more detailed comparison between the three Pro bike, so far tested. Recall that the Bianchi Oltre Team is not selling well, but can be achieved by assembling the kit frame, easier to make replicas of the team Lampre-ISD and Farnese Vine-Neri Sottoli since the SLR 101 Wilier Damiano Cunego and MCipollini RB1000 are available as replica.

Weight

All three bikes are on the regulatory limit for the UCI weight, 6.8 kg, all are above the limit of about 40 grams, to avoid problems with the various instruments in its review. However, while Bianchi and Wilier have to weigh you down with the lead bike for the MCipollini this value reaches him only by using very light Lightweight wheels, this means that the base, frame is heavier than its competitors, also adopts the MCipollini Shimano Dura Ace Di2, much heavier than the Campagnolo Record group Wilier 101SLR and the Sram/FSA Bianchi Oltre Team.

Design features

In terms of design features all three bikes are the same, that is perfect and meticulous in detail, the mechanics involved in a net in achieving this result with a fine-tuning of various components of very high and well above what can be seen on a normal bike series. With an assembly and a review of all the components are able to obtain a perfect set for front and rear derailleur, exemplary smoothness of the controls, crank, pedals and wheels. The challenge then is closed between mechanical balance.

Position on saddle

In the saddle you can see the preference of the Pro for a bust lying to seek the maximum aerodynamic penetration, with low grip, the body is always parallel to the ground, offering the least wind resistance possible. Stems and are in aluminum, a solution that ensures maximum rigidity and the feeling with the front wheel. The saddles are horizontal to the ground and allow you to ride well in saddle point. The controls are always well positioned, so as to be easily used. Despite the different components are used the end result is the same, minimum and maximum comfort bike control and command. Again the differences are minimal and irrelevant.
