Entry level bike comparison – 2nd Part - Cannondale Caad 8

Cannondale Caad 8 has been completely renovated in 2012. The frame is aluminum with a series of cables and step outside the traditional steering. The rear triangle uses the SAVE shape to improve comfort. The fork carbon is. The Shimano Sora is only used for commands, rear and front derailleur. The FSA Vero crankset is 50/39/30. Sram and KMC chain sprocket, while the brakes are Cannondale, like stem, handlebar and seatpost, all aluminum. Always Cannondale saddle. The wheels are mounted with Maddux rims and Formula hubs. No standard pedals and bottle cage. The cost is around 908 Euro, the frame is guaranteed for life. It is not an economic bike, costs more than its rivals and has a high mix of components, many of whom are of modest quality. Despite the good frame, very good though simple, overall performance remains modest. Positive frame of the lifetime warranty and good valutation on the used market, the latter is preferred to those who think the bike to keep one or two years before moving to a higher model.
