BicyclesPro bikes: José Serpa’s Bianchi Oltre Team Androni Giocattoli
This season Team Androni Giocattoli adopt Bianchi bikes, which has created a special bike for the Team, Bianchi Oltre Team version. The frame is new and already described Bianchi Oltre, a monocoque high modulus carbon with internal cable, the tapered headset and BB30. The frame weighs just over 900 grams, while the fork, which stems straight and aerodynamic profile, weighs just over 300 grams. Characteristic profile of the tube, the section over-size, also over-size the chainstay tubes, while the seatpost and the seat tube has an aerodynamic profile. The horizontal tube has a curved profile. The bike is assembled with the SRAM Red group, used with the controls, the sprocket, chain and rear derailleur. The front derailleur is FSA, as well as brakes FSA K-Force and crankset K-Force Light. FSA K-Force is always the handlebar in carbon fiber, while the stem is an FSA SL-K. The pedals are Look Keo, and the saddles are Fi'zi: k, José uses a Airone CX, but can also be used other models. Same thing for the stem, other athletes are increasingly using FSA, but the model OS-99. The bike is well below the UCI limit, then you choose the components to "weigh the bike", especially with athletes of small stature, like José Serpa. That is also the pedals are normal and not the lightest Look Keo Blade Carbon-Ti. Fulcrum wheels are all in the photo we see the Racing Speed XLR, with carbon hubs and ceramic bearings. Obviously the team has available throughout the park Fulcrum wheels, but most are used Racing Speed, Raging Light or, in a bid funds much ruined, the Fulcrum Racing Zero, much depends on the technical choices made by the athletes. The tires are Kenda Volare. A bike that goes down very easily to the UCI limit of 6.8kg, very stiff and responsive, so that took, right now, great success and competitiveness is highlighting a great general, well adapted to all types of trails.
