The new Bianchi frame Jab 29er is a unique project that little or nothing to do with the model Jab with the traditional 26-inch wheels. In fact the only thing that unites the two models are the material they are made of tubes of the frame, triple butted hydroformed aluminium 7005T6. All new the frame geometry, the result of intensive testing on the road. Compared to the traditional Jab is higher and slightly longer, all to make space for new 29 inch wheels, although the novelty does not only stop to the wheels. The new frame Jab 29er, presents a new tapered headset. The sloping top tube keeps a profile very pronounced and is joined directly to the tubes of the rear triangle. Characteristic of the triangle that joins the seat tube reinforcement to the tube. Very similar to the traditional Jab tube characterized by good section and the presence of a number of edges of struts. The rear triangle has thin tubes and fixing the new Post Mount with rear brake disc 160 mm. The frame weighs 1720 grams, only 70 grams more than the traditional Jab, an excellent goal. The bike will be available as a kit or bike frame assembled in two versions Jab 29.01 (Shimano XT 3x10) and Jab 29.03 (Shimano XT / SLX 3x10). For the specific assembly of the two models, see previous articles, while a shortly the first ride impressions.
