BicyclesPreview BMC 2011 - Impec
With the new model BMC inaugurated a new plant in Switzerland where the new bike will be made from tubes.
A new robot can achieve carbon tubes spinning different types of carbon and different simultaneously throughout the length of the tube.
This technology has allowed BMC to power a new frame unpublished study in which not only differ in the size of the carbon tubes and used according to different areas of the frame, but every inch of pipe can be best achieved choosing optimal carbon fiber, texture and shape better.
The result is a frame that looks with excellent performance in terms of weight and rigidity and a construction technique that definitely future will be copied by competitors.
The new case features, however, the line features the latest BMC.
The fork has straight stems, the rear is very compact and high pipes come together early in the pipe, here aerodynamic shape.
The tube horizontal is crushed and remains the characteristic triangle reinforcement between horizontal and vertical pipe.
The head tube is short, while the area of the bracket features wide ribbing reinforcement.
