The BMC team has the bike BMC TT01 Time Machine, already in use during the last season. All athletes have the same components, in addition to the TT01 model, the athletes, for training, is also available to the model TT02, heavier and less refined. The TT01 frame is entirely made to measure in Switzerland, the fork stem plates and aerodynamic, while the stem on the aero-bar is only partially integrated and controlled by an eccentric. This solution is made possible by the deployment of custom chassis, which is then customized for each athlete. Large cross-section and aerodynamic profile and the down tube is horizontal. Increasingly large and aerodynamic profile is the vertical tube and seat post. The rear triangle, very compact, has a section over-size pipe. Over-size is the area of movement whilst the bottom bracket has a standard classic and not BB30. The cable routing is internal, while the brakes are placed in the traditional position: in front of the fork and on the rear wheel. The bike is then completed with the adoption of the Dura Ace group, which is used to the controls, brakes, sprocket, chain, front and rear derailleur. The crank is Dura Ace equipped with SRM power detector. Compared to last year's bike is Campagnolo Record left the group. News for the rest of the components. The aero-bar is Aeston, as well as wheels, EC90TT front and rear lenticular. The tubes are Continental. New provision for saddles Fi'zi:k, replacing the Selle Italia. Confirmed the bottle cage Elite Time Trial and Speedplay pedals. Still remains one of the best bike time trial, finished and assembled with great care. The frame remains at the top for rigidity, while the time evolution of the technique can be seen competing in the positioning of the brakes, very little aerodynamic.
