BicyclesPro Bike: Cadel Evans’ BMC SLC01 Team BMC
Cadel Evans has provided a bicycle BMC completely customized with graphics from World Champion, in reality the different bike from the other team-mates no end to the sole graphics. Frame BMC SLC01 is made entirely of carbon fiber unidirectional with Nano Technology. Tubes main frame does not have the classical section round or oval, but more complex and square. The tube has several stiffening ribs and the internal cable. The head tube is short and compact, bearing the traditional 1-inch and 1/8. The top tube is flattened and wide and is divided into two parts near the tube, some runs straight to join the same tube, the other turns down joining the seat stay. The central movement is well proportioned and especially stiff from reinforcement support starting from the down tube and seat tube. The tubes chain stay are tall and heavy, especially near the bottom bracket, even those highs are well proportioned, come together in a box-like structure after the passage of the wheel and then embrace the tube in two places: above the top of the same and just below joining the bottom of the tube. The fork is an Easton EC90SLX carbon monocoque. A frame very light, but above all very stiff, strange that have not yet received the new bike SLR01. The bike Cadel Evans is then assembled with the Campagnolo Super Record complete with controls, front and rear derailleur, brakes, sprocket, chain and crankset with ceramic bearings. The pedals are Speedplay. The seatpost is always Easton EC70 carbon fiber, with head in light alloy and the saddle is a Selle Italia customized for Cadel Evans. The stem is an Easton EA90 and handlebar always Easton EC90. The wheels are always Easton, in the picture we see the model EC90SLX, but may vary, the tubular are Continental. The bottle cage are Elite and the cycle computer is CycleOps, a sign that Cadel safe use detector power training. A bike edited and refined in detail, at the limit of weight regulation, with all components of high level, certainly worthy of a World Champion and one of the best bike for constructive care and quality of components used, available by the Pro.
