The athletes of Team Liquigas-Cannondale, for the time trials, continue to use the model Cannondale Slice Hi Mod, the model remains unchanged from that used last year. The frame has been designed monocoque high modulus carbon, as well as the fork, the brake is positioned in front, in the classic position. The down tube has aerodynamic section and is designed for internal cable, the BB30 bottom bracket is kind and is coupled to a crank Hollowgram Cannondale BB30 SL, combined with SRAM crowns. Some athletes use the new crankset Vision, specifically for time trial bikes, more rigid and airfoil. The top tube is a good size as well as the vertical tube, aerodynamic profile and a seat post, mostly completed. The rear triangle has not a great achievement from the tube section, while the rear brake is mounted above the rear wheel. The bike is then completed with the saddle Fi'zi:k and aero-bar Vision, which is used in different versions, always Vision brake levers. The group Sram Red was adopted for the commands, the sprocket, chain, brakes, rear and front derailleur. The pedals are Speedplay. The wheels are Mavic with a lenticular rear wheel, high or very high-profile front, but is also used the front wheel with five spokes in carbon fiber. The tubes are Mavic. The Elite carbon bottle cage is, but not the specific model for the time trial bikes. A bike that would need a strong evolution, is not as refined aerodynamics and also the rigidity of the frame is no longer competitive compared to the latest achievements. Basically a bike mid-range very far from the best achievements of the competition.
