BicyclesPro bikes: Colnago C59 Italia Team Colnago-CFS Inox
Team Colnago-CSF Inox adopts new Colnago C59 Italia, which debuted just last year in the Giro d’Italia in the ranks of the same team. New C59 Italia frame is an evolution of previous EPS. The frame remains in high modulus carbon tubes joined together by conjunctions and bandage; the frame is stiffened by a series of carbon inserts, placed in the joints, the pipes house the internal cable that is designed to help stiffeness’ tube. The tubes have a rib on the sides that increase the stiffness, increased by about 10% from the previous EPS. The bottom bracket has the classic standard, while the headset is structurally integrated with tapered bearings 1 inch 1/8 above and 1 inch 1/2 below. The fork keeps the classic straight profile of Colnago carbon fiber monocoque. The bike is then assembled with the Campagnolo Super Record, with controls, brakes, crank, sprocket, chain, front and rear derailleur. Always beautiful Campagnolo Record pedals. The Fulcrum Racing Zero wheels, complete with Vittoria Open Evo CX clinchers; bottle cage are Elite. The seatpost is Colnago carbon fiber and saddle is Prologo; the stem and the handlebar are Deda Elementi aluminum Zero100 series. A nice bike, at the weight limit regulations. The adoption of the Super Record group can compensate the weight of the frame and fork over rivals, so the bike is also the regulatory limit of 6.8kg UCI. A traditional bike, especially aesthetics, and no particular technical solutions, but still very competitive and well maintained.
