BicyclesPro bikes: Drouilly Mathieu’s Colnago EPS Team Landbouwkrediet
Team Landbouwkrediet uses bikes Colnago CX-1, but some athletes have available the Colnago EPS, among them the young Drouilly Mathieu. The main difference between the two frames is that while the CX-1 is a monocoque frame, the EPS is a frame bandaged. This leads to a weight/rigidity worst but the possibility of having a greater number of sizes, including those to measure. The tubes of carbon are made in Italy on Colnago specific, always made high modulus 3K carbon. In the frame EPS, then, it also changes the set of steering, C-HS1 Colnago, which allows the replacement of bearings, but these are different, the bottom has a diameter of 1 inch and 1/4 and the top has a diameter of 1 inch and 1/8. The bottom bracket is over-size, while conjunctions of the tubes are left in highlight. The tube cross section is plentiful, but without exaggeration, with the very short head tube, the fork, with legs straight and a rear section of the tube contained. The seatpost diameter is 31.6 mm in carbon, produced specifically for this model. The saddle is a Prologo, technical sponsor of the team. The group adopted is the Shimano Dura Ace, adopted in full, with crank, shifts, rear and front derailleur, sprocket, brakes and chain. Even the wheels are Dura Ace and hosting Vittoria Open Evo CX clinchers 320TPI. Shimano is always the stem, Pro Series, while the handlebar, in this case, is Deda Newton Shallow version. Interestingly, Mathieu does not use any cyclocomputer. The pedals are Speedplay and bottle cage are Elite carbon, but Mathieu also uses a Tacx resin.
