Colnago has placed at disposal of team Colnago-CSF Inox, especially Sacha Modolo and Domenico Pozzovivo, a new frame that will be called C59, heir of the famous C50 and C40.

The new frame, which will debut officially at the Eurobike 2010, is an evolution of the EPS, which will remain in production, and is the top of the range Colnago. Entirely made in Italy the new frame is made of carbon tubes with lugs, as EPS, but are for different tube diameters and their section. Colnago for the first time, adopt internal cable, with a solution for the internal cable housing, similar to that seen on other competitors. The sheath of the cable passes through a reinforcement inside the pipe, which increases the stiffness and simultaneously serves as a passage for the cable. It's interesting to note that Colnago for years said that the internal cable decreased rigidity of the frame. The frame has a classic look, with the head tube which houses a series of separate steering Colnago Fork remains with the legs straight, but they have a new section, certainly more rigid. New the bottom bracket. Below it is the battery housing for Shimano Di2. The new frame is indeed compatible with both traditional groups (Campagnolo Super Record or Shimano Dura Ace) and with the Shimano Di2. Also new is the rear triangle, with the sleeves rolled low and high. For the moment there are no other data, such as available sizes, but is sure the custom-made, or range of colours that will be unveiled in September.
