BicyclesFocus on: Cube Litening Super HPC Race 2011
Bike Cube Litening Super HPC Race is based on a monocoque frame with high modulus. It is made with a construction technique called Advanced Twin Mold. This technique allows to minimize production errors and dimensional accuracy of the thickness of the tubes. The head tube have tapered bearings to 1 inch and 1/2 below and 1 inch and 1/8 above. The bottom bracket Shimano adopts the Press-Fit. The tube is a large cross section, while the horizontal is crushed, but still a generous size. The vertical pipe is home to 31.6 mm in diameter seatpost. The rear is compact and has high horizontal tubes and well designed, while the upper ones are of smaller section, according to a well-known on other competitive products. The fork is an Easton EC90SL, one of the lightest forks on the market, however, very strict and precise. The surface finish is made with a special gloss paint to protect the decals and the frame, without affecting the overall weight. The bike is then assembled with the Shimano Dura Ace, adopted in full, with crank, commands, sprocket, brakes, chain, front and rear derailleur. The wheels are excellent EC90SL Easton, while tires are Ultremo Schwalbe. The seatpost is a Syntace Carbon, with saddle Fi'zi:k Carbon Antares, the stem is always Syntace, model F109, while the handlebar is Syntace Carbon. So assembled, the bike will cost around 5400 Euro and a declared weight of 6.6 kg. A great bike, very competitive and among the best ever for the proposed price/performance/quality. The frame and the overall weight of the bike are not extreme, but lie down, good paint, the best ever for brilliance and strength, the perfect assembly, homogeneous in its capacity as the highest level. A suitable bike agonists, such as the amateur, high quality and reliable. It's perfect for those who do not need a "brand", but be careful to the point. The absolute performance is only very slightly lower for some high-end models, however, with prices much higher, but not aligned to the weight of the bike and most high-end competitors, which have higher prices and in some cases with differences price also embarrassing. In conclusion, a good bike for the amateur looking for a high quality product and high performance at a reasonable price and honest. The low uptake of the mark, though, and also a certain distrust of the cyclists themselves, leads to a low demand on the used market, a bike, then, to buy and hold for long, it takes a large depreciation that could negate the advantage of initial savings.
