I had the pleasure to analyze live the new De Rosa Protos, illustrated by the same Cristiano De Rosa. The new De Rosa Protos born from the desire to create a new frame top range 100% Made in Italy.

Project, industrialization and production entirely Italian. The new frame is made with tubes wrapped for maximum customization and also measures the highest quality construction through a construction process completely handmade. The bike has aero shapes slightly, but is based mainly on the rigidity and low weight. The head tube is oversized, with tapered bearings and stems with a fork for large and straight. The oversized down tube, angular shapes, square, always of the highest section. Oversize bottom bracket and the top tube. The cables run inside. Also large the section of the rear triangle tubes, with particular regard to the junction with the bottom bracket. As is obvious, on a bike of this level, the dropouts are carbon fiber. The bike, assembled with the Campagnolo Super Record, Bora Ultra Two wheels, Look Keo Carbon pedals should have a weight of about 6.4 kg weight a very competitive view of the rigidity that promise the abundant tubes sections of the triangle. The price, above the King RS, promises to be competitive with the best products in the category.
