After that De Rosa had made debut the new frame King3 RS in the last Giro d'Italia in the hands of only Garzelli, Petacchi and Di Luca, this year the bike is available to all athletes of Team De Rosa-Stac Plastic. 15% lighter and stiffer by 18% compared to the old King3, the RS is modelled on the forms, while differing in many points. He hoses from different section, while maintaining the internal cable, fork stems straight, but always bearing steering from the thumb and 1/8. Even the rear stay is similar to King3, although with different sections of the tubes. Compact the bottom bracket and longer than other achievements, the head tube. The pedals are Look, while the wheels are Campagnolo Shamal Ultra, with Vittoria Open Evo CX clinchers, the bottle cage are Elite carbon. The vicissitudes of the team, born from the ashes of the old LPR-Farnese Vini, prevented, therefore, to resubmit the handsome prototype seen at the Giro d'Italia, who had assembled Campagnolo Super Record Bora and Ultra Two wheels, a bike much more refined, expensive and lighter than the one available this season. Although it must be emphasized that, captains aside, the team, already last year, pedalling on a bike comparable to this for quality components.
