The frame Focus Raven is a brand new product for 2010 and was designed by Focus with the same philosophy in Izalco road model. The carbon monocoque frame is accredited for a low weight. The cables run inside and constructed so as to obtain a structural reinforcement within the pipe itself. The internal passage, thus achieved, improves the stiffness of the tube. The head tube is short but very section and hosts a series of steering with tapered roller bearings, 1 inch and 1/2 inch below and 1 inch and 1/8 above. The tube has a sloping profile and accentuated form, together with the down tube, an area well-sized steering and rigid. èJust as is well sized box that houses the bottom bracket bearings for the standard BB30. The rearstay has been designed to leave room for the wheel so that it stops with the mud, then with high pipes that are best for absorbing vibrations and shocks and lower ones that are larger, especially the area of the dropouts. Particularly fitting inside the rear triangle of the brake, so better to download the forces on the frame, to have a better attitude during braking, better stability and braking power. The frame is available in four sizes and in the only color you see in the picture. The bike is then assembled with the Sram XX, with crankset, 11-36 sprocket, chain, front and rear derailleur, controls. The brakes and the related controls are Avid Elixir XX. The stem is FSA OS-99 CSI model and always is the FSA K-Force seatpost. Although the bar is FSA K-Force, carbon made. The saddle is Fi'zi:k, Tundra model. The fork is Rock Shox Sid XX W.C.R. RL 100 mm, while the wheels are DT Swiss XRC 1350, supplemented with Continental tires. A very light bike with a rigid frame, excellent high-end bike, but weighs an availability and an estate on the used market than other models.
