The new Eldorado is a model that entirely novel shares with the previous model only the name. Remains the highest expression of FRW in Mtb and its range has been completely revised and now stands as one of the best MTB in 2011. The new frame is the result of over two years of study and has been repeatedly tested in the race, during the last season, the various athletes and teams sponsored by FRW, not least the team of the State Forestry Corps, which ranks among the its ranks the World Junior Champion.

The frame is made of Ultra High Modulus carbon, while the weight of the frame only fell to 1050 grams. For FRW own admission, it was decided not to drop below 1000 grams and the challenge of other producers, because he preferred the emphasis on reliability and longevity of the frame, which is extremely resistant to impact and shock has very frequently Mtb.

The new frame has a number of classic with a steering head tube very short, but reinforced with ribs that come from the oblique and horizontal tubes. Is abandoned the classical section for a new round tube geometry has several corners and ribs along the entire length of SST which improves the rigidity without increasing weight. The sloping is very pronounced. The oblique section has generous and connects to the bottom bracket, well-made, which houses the bottom bracket with standard BSA Classic. The tube, it runs very tilted and bent near the junction with the pipe, which houses the seat by 31.6 millimeters. The connection between vertical and horizontal pipe is made with a large box structure that also connects to the pipes of the high rear, improving rigidity. The new rear keeps pipes from large sections, but now have a different profile, which improves the already excellent rigidity of the former Eldorado. The dropouts are now carried out simultaneously and together attack the wagon rear brake Postmount type.

The bike, which comes in these days retailers FRW is also available in kit configuration frame, with headset and seatpost Ritchey WCS Wet White. The assembled bike is available with the new Shimano Dyna-SYS, XT and XTR 3x10 2x10 and 3x10. The frame kit is priced at Euro 1499, but 10x3 XT model is priced at Euro 4099, Euro 5540 10x3 version XTR and XTR version 2x10 Euro 5540.
