In the splendid scenery of Fantini Club of Cervia fully staff FRW presented the 2009 bike range in addition to new ranges of products distributed by them, namely: Bell (helmets), Giro (helmets and gloves), Easton (stem, headset, seatpost , Wheels, etc.), Blackburn (lights and pumps), CoPilot (seats for children), Hydrapak (backpacks water), Manitou (forks and shocks), Hayes (brakes), Diamondback (BMX bike). To do the honours the President and founder Claudio Brusi, which for the occasion has left at home jacket and tie, presented in an appropriate holiday look with T-shirt. Alongside him the Product Manager Cristian Gasperoni, a former professional who after 12 years in the group with high-level teams decided to start this new "adventure" by putting its experience of cyclist "Prof." at the service of FRW. Excellent the organization edited by Laura Manfrin, head of public relations. The occasion served to Brusi also to reveal some project, present and future, for his company. For 2009 the range was done a great job to improve the overall quality of the product and especially to improve value for money. There have been redefined all relations with suppliers and through a careful selection of the same, as well as a careful redefinition of production processes, it was possible to achieve a major objective: is the same Brusi that, with visible pride, says there is the "By selecting our suppliers and reduced to a minimum number, with a careful process of building we managed to reduce the list prices of individual bicycles, while 20% against a strong increase in raw materials, such savings has been without affecting minimally product quality that has, in many cases has increased thanks to the more refined - and then continue - we are among the few companies to take groups to complete, Shimano or Campagnolo, saddles we use to SelleItalia, while the components is Ritchey or FSA for the top range, the wheels are Mavic and in some cases Campagnolo". But there's more: FRW has decided to take a different path both in terms of weight declared for the sale of bicycles, has always Brusi who speaks: "In all bike FRW include the pedals (Look for the range street) and the weight stated includes pedals". Cristian Gasperoni, instead, prefers to focus more on the technical aspects: "We have tried to cut looms in their weight, but always looking for maximum rigidity, so that we tested, with excellent results, even on the track, where the rigidity is everything. Then a careful selection of components because it is unnecessary to have a good chassis assembled with wheels or components of the lower range, but what we are proud is the new chassis from Mtb Eldorado (strange for one who comes from the road). It is a frame with carbon 1K - explains Cristian - a carbon used in F1 and in the aeronautical sector, but across the range we gave the best of ourselves also on the model "Charlotte", a women's bike with high technical contents, as the trekking's bike". Brusi finally explains the price range of FRW and some "gaps" in the range of bikes: "We set ourselves a target average yield in high-street bike because below 700 Euro is impossible to achieve good bike; in MTB we can have lower prices because, especially in trekking, bike are also aimed at those who approached two wheels for the first time and has no particular technical requirements, which does not happen in the area by road. It is true, we do not have a bike for crono, cross or freeride, but we want to do things well and we are a small company, we prefer to do a few products, but make them good and the range for 2010 we are already working on important news". For products distributed, however, important news for Hayes brakes with the new calipers two pistons and new carbon levers. For helmets, new range fro Bell and Giro with the latter who has made an interesting collection of glasses and gloves. But now we see the range FRW street and Mtb top range, while in the coming days we will see the rest of the range bike and products distributed.

Sonoma

Sonoma is the top-bike peak of FRW, made of carbon-banded high-fiber form with a 3k tip everything about responsiveness and rigidity, combined with a weight of only 6.7 kg in the version assembled Campagnolo Super Record (weight noted that is with pedals). The only frame weighs 950 grams. Only a colouring available, while the assemblies are Campagnolo Record Super (crank traditional), Chorus 11v (crank Compact), Dura Ace (crank traditional) and Dura Ace crank with Compact. Napa Valley

Napa Valley is a top bike range realized in carbon monocoque high modulus fiber to 3k with the aim of having a good rigidity but also an excellent ability to absorb vibrations. The chassis has a weight of just over Sonoma, 1.060 grams, while the quality level is the same. More wide range of assembly with the Shimano Ultegra and Dura Ace (both in the double option crank traditional and compact), while Campagnolo is present with the new groups Chorus and Super Record to 11 speeds. The components are carbon Ritchey, Mavic wheels or Campagnolo. Prices range from 3,849 to 5,499 Euros. Weights ranging from 6.8 kilograms to 7.3 kilograms.

Hunters Hill

The Hunters Hill is always a bike in carbon monocoque high modulus fiber to 6k, but realized in a wide range of sizes, starting from xs until xxl, so that we can meet the needs size of many cyclists. It is a light bike, the casing weighs 1.150 grams, but rigid and reactive, the right balance between price and performance for athletes. A bike that is already experiencing the favor of many amateur team for the value for money. The components are always Ritchey and Mavic, while the weights range from 7.7 kilograms to 7.4 kilograms in the second set that can be Campagnolo Centaur and Chorus 11v and Shimano Ultegra. Prices range from 2,799 to 3,599 Euros.

Diamond Heights

Diamond Heights is the bike carbon intended for a general public who wants to bring to this material. Made of carbon monocoque high-fiber form with a 12k is proposed in a wide range of measures and assemblies, so as to meet the needs of all cyclists, including the version with straight handlebars. The assemblies are Campagnolo Veloce, Centaur and Chorus 11v, as well as Shimano Ultegra Dura Ace and 105 Flat Bar. The weights range from 8.1 kilograms to 8.7 kilograms. Eldorado

For the range Mtb the best thing is the new model and Eldorado Eldorado R (differs only in color, which is red). The frame is carbon monocoque finished with a layer of carbon to 1k and weight of only 1,150 grams. The bike is completely assembled with Shimano XTR group or XT and fork Manitou R/mrd; wheels are Mavic. Weights ranging from 9.4 to 9.8 kg while prices range from 3,649 to 4,279 Euros. Harder

The Harder is the second proposal for a Mtb high-level carbon monocoque unidirectional. Assembled with groups Shimano Slx, Xt or Sram X0 and crank double FSA 29/44, for all the fork is Manitou or Suntour, depending on the composition. The weights range from 9.9 to 10.9 kg. Prices range from 1,789 to Euros 3989 Euros. Here are some details:

Axum

The Axum is the titanium bike with which the champion Marco Aurelio Fontana has touched upon the Olympic podium. The titanium frame weighs only 1,450 grams, while the bike has a full weight ranging from 9.8 to 10 kg, depending on the composition, which can be XTR disc, disc XT and XT V-brake. Charlotte

Charlotte is a new proposal FRW for women, based on the same frame of Diamon Heights, carbon monocoque high modulus fiber to 12k by the weight of 1,230 grams. The components are groups Shimano Ultegra and 105, the latter also in configuration flat bar. For the rest components is Ritchey, Mavic and Selle Italia, with a specific saddle for women. The weights range from 8.7 kg to 8.4 kg, while prices range from 1,649 to 2,099 Euros.

Silverado

Is FRW's titanium bike. The frame is constructed with pipes idroforming with titanium Grade 9; a hard bike, responsive and light, but still comfortable. The frame weighs 1,450 grams while the bike complete range from 7.3 kilograms to 8.1 kilograms in the second set that can be Campagnolo Centaur, Chorus and Super Record, then Shimano Ultegra and Dura Ace. Still Ritchey components and Mavic wheels. Prices range from 3,599 to 5,519 Euros.

Nob Hill

It's an innovative bike with a beautiful frame to scandium idroforming for a bike lightness and stiffness. The only frame weighs 1.100 grams, while the bike complete range from 7.3 kilograms to 7.7 kilograms in the second set which may be place Centaur, Chorus and Super Record, as well as Shimano Dura Ace and Ultegra. Prices vary from 2,679 to 4,699 Euros.

Lancer

It is the Mtb with aluminium chassis to scandium idroforming bearing the weight just 1.350 grams, while the bike has a full weight ranging from 10.1 to 9.7 kilograms. A bike with high-level components like groups Shimano XT and XTR, both with disc brakes. The fork is always Manitou R7 mrd. Prices vary from 2,949 to 3,599 Euros.

Junkers

Is the Mtb for those close to the world of racing for the first time. It based on an aluminium chassis double thickness and components of good level, given the adoption of group Shimano XT, V-brake or Disk, in which case the braking system is the model Hayes Stroker Carb. The weights range from 11.2 to 10.9 kg, while prices range from 1,645 to 1,770 Euros.

Big Bear

It's a high-quality bike for Mtb who does not at the level racing, but wants a bike light and competitive. The group has adopted the new Shimano SLX, while the brakes may be a V-brake disc or, in this case Hayes Stronker Trail, the fork is a Suntour Axon. The weight varies from 11.1 to 11.5 kg, while prices range from 1,219 to 1,299 Euros.

FXC Pro

Is the bike Full Suspension from XC. Made with a beautiful aluminium chassis is assembled with the groups Shimano SLX and Deore. It has a weight ranging from 13.3 to 13.8 kg, while the frame weighs only 2.8 kg. Prices vary from 1,139 to 1,749 Euros.

Pacific Heights

It's a trekking bike based on an aluminium chassis and group Shimano Sora triple. Wheels are assembled on hubs Shimano Sora and Mavic rims. The weight is reduced to 9.7 kg for a bike also suitable for tourism and long-course proposal at the nice price of 769 Euros.

The rest of the range

These include the rest of the range FRW: bike racing aluminium Potrero Hills and Hunters Point, a bike designed for those not from a crucial weight and prefers aluminium to other materials; proposals in very competitive prices that start at 866 Euros. Among the bikes Mtb other proposals are models Sycamore, Canmore Saphir and West Lake, covering different price ranges with components of good quality and with prices starting at 486 Euros.
