The new frame FRW Syrah Carbon 29er is completely new and not only broadens the range of bike Mtb 29er FRW, but introduces a series of technical innovations that are sure to be taken in the rest of the FRW range.

The new carbon fiber frame has a specific geometry for the 29er, and is characterized by the use of a mix of HM carbon fiber and finishing with UD. The area of the head tube is characterized by a series of stiffening ribs and a generous rear section which helps to improve the rigidity of the area. The headset tapered is with bearings 1 inch and ½ and 1 inch and 1/8. The down tube has a section not particularly high, a solution made possible by the excellent quality of the carbon fiber used, saving weight without sacrificing rigidity. The passage of the front and rear derailleur cable is inside the tube, while the outside pass the rear brake oil pipe. The bottom bracket is fitted with Standard Press Fit. The horizontal tube has a sloping acute, has a large triangle that joins the stiffening seat tube. This presents a striking angle near the bottom bracket to make space for the rear wheel, thus allowing a compact geometry in spite of the large wheels. The seatpost is 31.6 mm, while the derailleur is fitted with the classic band and not with direct mounting to the frame. This solution has its advantages and disadvantages. The disadvantage is an increase in weight (a few grams in reality), the advantage is that in case of fall, even trivial, there is no risk of breakage of a derailleur mount and then the frame; than just change the band. The rear triangle is characterized by good tube section and the rear brake mount on the inside of the horizontal tube. This solution improves the quality of braking and especially ride comfort by reducing the amount of vibrations that are transmitted to the saddle. Three sizes available, while only one is the color. The bike is available in two different assemblies (3x10 Shimano XT and 3x10 Shimano XT/Deore) in addition to the frame kit. Shimano XT version is used in full, also standard Shimano 520 pedals, while not including the bottle cage. Stem, handlebar and seatpost are Ritchey WCS. The saddle is Selle Italia SL XC Flow, while the wheels are Shimano WH-MT55, with Kenda tires, the fork is Rock Shox Sid RL poplock. So assembled, the bike has a claimed weight of about 11.2 kg while the price is 3000 Euros, down to 2400 Euro for the version Deore/XT, while the frame kit is priced around 1299 Euro. A bike in good overall quality, not extreme solutions, but assembled with excellent components and features a reliable and well built frame. Performance are more than good in its price range. A great bike for those who want a 29er of excellent quality and good for the racing.
