Giant has completely revolutionized its top range model TCR Advanced SL ISP. The new frame maintains the monocoque construction, but has been completely revised section of the tubes and technical solutions. New headset OverDrive has bearings 1 inch and ½ and 1 inch and ¼; to this is added the new full carbon fork that holds the stems straight.

This way the stiffness of the steering column area has increased by 40% allowing an improvement in stability, speed and precision cornering. The rear triangle has a detector speed/cadence/power integrated, the dropouts are carbon horizontal tubes have a good section, while the smaller the vertical tubes. The bottom bracket has standard bracket. The down tube, large cross-section, now houses the internal cable. Crushed and off the top tube. The tube is equipped with integrated seat and its particular conformation, with an apparent flattening in the middle of its length, allows for an effective vibration absorption. The bike being tested is assembled with the Shimano Dura Ace adopted in full, with shifter, front and rear derailleur, crankset, sprocket, chain, brakes. The wheels are the new Giant P-SLR1. The saddle is a Fi'zi:k, while stems and handlebar are made in aluminum. So assembled, without pedals, the bike has a weight of 6.5Kg, as observed with our instrumentation.
