From this season Team Miche take the Guerciotti’s bike, according to the main sponsor of the team led by Marco Tozzi. The bike team is the model supplied to Eureka, a monocoque high modulus carbon fiber, weighing about 1kg. The frame has the classic forms of good tube section. Good sized bottom bracket, with classic standards, and the chainstay tubes. The seatstay tubes have a normal section. The head set have a tapered steering and the fork has straight stems from section abundant. The bike is then assembled with the group Miche Supertype. The controls, the rear and the front derailleur is Campagnolo Super Record, but they are of the Miche crankset, chain, sprocket, and brakes, all of the range Supertype. Very nice carbon fiber brakes and crankset Supertype, though both do not have a very low weight in relation to other products of the highest level. The pedals are always Miche Supertype MT7, as well as the wheels, though in the photo you see the model SWR Full Carbon, always Miche. The seatpost Deda Superzero is completely carbon fiber, while the saddle is Selle Italia Team Edition, in the individual selected by the athletes. Stems and handlebar are always Deda, but aluminum, belonging to the range Zero 100. The clincher or tubular, depending on the used wheels, are Vittoria. So assembled, the bike weighs about 7kg, slightly higher than the best rivals. Too bad that obvious budget limitations have prevented the adoption of the Eclipse frame, far more lightweight Eureka. It’s to report, then, that Guerciotti has recently introduced its catalogue, a perfect replica of the model that came with Team Miche Guerciotti, with the group Supertype used to complete with wheels and proposed a very competitive price, around 5000 Euro.
