BicyclesPro Bikes: Kuota Kalibur Team AG2R La Mondiale
Team AG2R La Mondiale uses bike Kuota Kalibur for time trials. The frame is a monocoque carbon with BB30 bottom bracket. The fork has an aerodynamic profile, but the brake is still on the front side. The tube has an angular profile and less refined, aerodynamic point of view, than other competitors. The rear triangle is well-sized, but heavy, yet light alloy dropouts and not in carbon fiber. The seat post has an aerodynamic profile. The bike is then assembled with Sram Red group used to the controls, brakes, chain, sprocket, the crank, the rear and the front derailleur. The pedals are Look Keo Blade, but not the specific model for the time trial. The aero bars are Deda Elementi, while the wheels are Reynolds. The saddle is a San Marco Regale. A bike aesthetically beautiful, but modest in terms of aerodynamics research, far from the best achievements in the field.
