Eddy Merckx has not in its catalog a time trial bike. ETT1 model is used only by athletes of Team Quick-Step and it could anticipate the future release for fans. The frame is a classic piece structure with a design very similar to the Pinarello FM1 Carbon; also the fork, the airfoil has a similar design. The cables run inside, while the brakes are in the classical position in front of the fork above the rear wheel. The seat tube has an aerodynamic profile, as the top tube, very crushed. The vertical pipe has big size compared to other realizations, and joins the bottom bracket, this well proportioned. The pipe, in the first part follows the shape of the rear wheel. The bike is then assembled with Campagnolo Record 10v, specifically for time trial bike, the pedals are Look, while the wheels are FF in a three-spoke carbon front and rear lens. Bottle cage is Tacx. Aerobar is Deda, and saddles are Prologo. A bike that highlights the beautiful wheels and high attention to joints, while not meeting specific technical innovations.
