The Quick-Step team uses the Eddy Merckx bike ETT-1 for time trials. The frame is not particularly innovative in many ways recalls the old Pinarello FM1 Carbon. The ETT-1 frame is a monocoque carbon fiber with the internal cable. The tube has a section particularly generous and also has a special aerodynamic profile. The tube is flattened and broad. The vertical pipe is short and the headset 1 inch and 1/8. The fork has an airfoil classic, already seen on many other bikes and fitting in the traditional position of the front brake. Ben sized area of the bottom bracket and the compact rear triangle with tubes in the section than its competitors. The rear brake is located in the traditional way. The seat tube has an aero profile seatposts and dedicated. The bike is then assembled with the Campagnolo Record 10v, specifically for time trial bikes, the pedals are Look Keo Aero Blade, while the wheels are always Campagnolo Ghibli Ultra rear and Bora Ultra front. The stem FSA SL-K, while the aero-bars Vision is, such as brake controls, while the seats are Prologo Nago Evo TT-R. A bike taken care of and well finished, but that does not provide superior aerodynamics, while the Campagnolo group-set shows its limits of components for the time trial bikes.
