Team Euskaltel-Euskadi adopts the new Orbea Orca Gold frame. The frame is a monocoque high modulus carbon with a very angular profile of the tubes. The tube is a large cross section and includes a number of edges of the outer housing and tightening the cables. These are coated with a Teflon sheath that runs in direct contact with the frame.
