BicyclesFocus on: Pinarello Kobh 60.1
The Pinarello Kobh 60.1 arises from a request of the athletes of the Team Sky to have a bike that best suits races of northern Europe, where the race tracks are characterized by long stretches of gravel and cobbles. So starting from the known 60.1 Dogma was developed a new geometry, which leads to a more stable and comfortable bike, while remaining stiff and light. The monocoque chassis is carbon fiber and 60Ton Torayca identical production processes, the famous Dogma, including asymmetric geometry. It changes the angle of the fork, the distance between the wheels, the slope of the pipe, the length and shape of the tubes of the rear. So it's able to achieve greater comfort, without compromising their performance in terms of stiffness and weight of the bike. This, however, should be more than a few grams of Dogma in the same size, although the difference is not mentioned. The bike is then completed with the Dura Ace Di2 group, which was adopted in its entirety. The frame kit is priced at about Euro 4100, a high price but better aligned with the competition. The Kobh stands out for a better ride comfort than the dogma and a greater stability and driving safety. Born to meet the needs increased competition for amateurs who want a high-performance chassis, but do not want to sacrifice comfort. In this case the model Kobh is a good compromise, though expensive and more performance-oriented than to pure comfort. It remains a race bike responsive and stiff, but not reaching the level of Dogma, but with more comfort and more secure, easier to control on bumpy and speed, more relaxing over long distances. An almost perfect bike for an amateur who hardly regret the slight stiffness and lower weight compared to just over Dogma, but instead will appreciate the comfort and driving safety. Unfortunately, the price is quite high, partly justified by the performance, partly from the exclusivity of the brand.
