The Ridley Dean used by Team Katusha is a monocoque frame made of high modulus carbon 30, 40 and 50-tons. The fork is an R-Flow Dean 4ZA monocoque with the aerodynamic profile of the stems. The frame tubes feature profiles improving aerodynamic penetration and is used a special coating technology that allows a 4% reduction in the resistance of progress compared to traditional painting techniques.

Dimensioned the tube and above the bottom bracket, from which the vertical pipe that largely follows the shape of the rear wheel and is joined to the top of the rear pipes before continuing in the integrated seat post and aerodynamic profile. Same profile for the top tube, very flat and the head tube, very short. The cables run inside, while the brakes, always to improve aerodynamics, are behind the fork and under the rear wheel. The frame has a declared weight of 1375 grams. The bike team is then assembled with the Campagnolo Record 10v, specifically for time trial bike. Deda Aerobar and San Marco saddles, chosen from among the various models of venetian house. Bottle cage Elite Kit Time Trial is specific to cycling time trial, while the pedals are Look. The wheels are Campagnolo, lenticular rear and high profile front. Some athletes take a special crank not Campagnolo, with oval cranck and three-spoke front wheel in carbon. Great bike, judged by athletes very competitive and viable.
