Some athletes of Team Vacansoleil-DCM use the Ridley Helium bike. The Helium frame is the lightest of the collection Ridley, is made from high modulus carbon monocoque, with a tube section is not high, as is the area of the bottom bracket. The series has the steering bearings by 1 inch and 1/2 below and 1 inch and 1/8 above. The fork has slightly arching stems. Good section of the tube and the horizontal tubes of the rear triangle, while the section is much more contained the remaining tubes of the frame. The bike is then assembled with the group Red Sram, brakes, controls, sprocket, chain, front and rear derailleur. The crank Rotors is and can be equipped with SRM power detector or oval crown. Always present the chain guide Rotor. The pedals are Look Keo Carbon Blade. Fast Forward wheels are high-profile carbon rims, complete with Vredestein Fortezza Pro Tubular. They can also be used on medium or low profile wheels. The saddle is San Marco, in the photo we see the model Zoncolan. Also in the photo we see a customization done by the team that has not adopted an stem Deda Elementi (team sponsor), but an FSA stem, in aluminum, but with a greater slope and shorter. The handlebar is the classic aluminum Deda Newton. Bottle cage are Tacx. A good bike, but remains far from the best competitors though the customization is to be commended that the team performs on each bike to fit perfectly to the demands of athletes.
