Italian Champion Filippo Pozzato has a unique custom bike, among other things produced in limited edition of only 200 copies. Elegant in its livery tricolor bike is based on the popular frame Ridley Damocles ISP. A monocoque frame made of high modulus carbon, the tubes have a series of sharp edges that improve the characteristics of stiffness and strength. The fork is always monocoque, with straight stems, and produced for this model. The set steering is differential with ball 1 inch and 1/2 below and 1 inch and 1/8 above. The horizontal pipe runs straight section with a sharp-edged, but without being overly large. Same thing for the down tube, which reaches the bottom bracket with no particular areas of reinforcement. Dimensioned but the point of contact between top tube and head tube. The seat post is integrated. The rear features straight and tapered tubes that join the dropouts light alloy CNC. The seat stay are joined on top of the rear brake in a box-like structure which then connects to the horizontal tube. The frame has a declared weight of about 1290 grams, not just for a bike for a sample. The bike is then assembled with Campagnolo Record, with controls, brakes, crankset, chain, sprocket and front derailleur. The rear derailleur, however, is always Campagnolo Super Record, but, certainly used to issues of availability on the day of the photoshoot. Campagnolo wheels are always in the picture we see Bora Ultra Two, with ceramic bearings, complete with Vredestein Fortezza Pro tubulars The saddle is a San Marco Zoncolan, while the stem is a Deda Zero 100 Servizio Corse, always Deda the handlebar still aluminum model Zero 100. The pedals are new Look Keo 2 Max. Overall a good bike, which still stands out more for custom graphics for the technical solutions adopted. The frame is great for rigidity and responsiveness, it is not very light, even if the bike so blended, should still be near the regulatory limit, or slightly above. Coloring cycling aside, Pozzato has not technical material dedicated to him than the other athletes of the Russian team and the only customizations are found in the saddle and the choice of the handlebar, however, within the brands sponsoring the team.
