New Scott Foil

After it had been presented during last Eurobike, comes on the market the new Scott Foil.

The new bike is part of the new field of aero bike. The Foil frame is a monocoque high modulus carbon fiber with a profile of the tubes carefully studied in a wind tunnel. Performance fits between the model CR1and the model Plasma Crono. The new aerodynamic profile of the pipes, exceeds the limit of the UCI regulations for time trial bike (1:3) to arrive at a new class (3:2). This new profile allows for greater aerodynamics and stiffness than the model CR1, whose tubes are lighter, as compared to Plasma is lost slightly in aerodynamics but you gain in lightness and rigidity. The new bike will be available in four different assemblies: Foil Premium, Foil R1, Foil Team Issue, Foil R2. The reported weights are respectively 6.66, 6.92, 6.62 and 7.38kg. The frame has a tapered headset, with a dedicated and fork with carbon dropouts. Auks the rear triangle has carbon dropouts, while the aero seatpost is specific to this model and built by Ritchey. Very nice the internal cable. The bike is assembled with the Dura Ace Di2 group adopted in full and Zipp 404 wheels. The saddle Fi'zi:k, while stems and are Ritchey WCS. Do not mind the pedals. The bike should arrive at retailers soon.
