Scott Bikes has completely renewed its full Spark for 2012, adding to the 26-inch version also the 29-inch, but this is not just the novelty. The frames has been completely revised, keeps the carbon monocoque construction with Ultra High Modulus, but now has tapered headset, central movement adopts the Press Fit, while new is the profile of the tubes. All new rear suspension, characterized by the link in carbon fiber and the new positioning of the shock, which remains under the top tube, but with a new attack and just the same as made by Cube in its Full XC (not very original for Scott...). The vertical pipe has a noticeable bend to make room for the wheels, counting frame size. In 26-inch version of the suspension travel is adjustable from 85 to 120 mm, while the 29-inch version of the travel is 100 mm. Yet again, then, the attack of the rear disc brake Direct Mount. The frame weighs 1790 grams, 26-inch version, and 1890 grams for the 29-inch version (weight without shock).
