BicyclesPro Bike: Peter Velits's Scott Addict Team HTC-Columbia
Team-Columbia HTC also used in the 2010 season Scott Addict bikes. The frame, unveiled last year, has not changed and remains among the lightest in its class with 790 grams declared through the use of a carbon fiber developed by Scott. The seatpost is integrated. The series stays with the traditional steering bearings 1 inch and 1/8 above and below, while the monocoque fork, made of the same material of the frame, has a declared weight of 330 grams. The headstock is short and with proper reinforcement, which connects to top tube and oblique, both abundant but without exceeding the size as the box is sized bottom bracket. The seat stay has the tubes that run separate to the point of junction with the tube. The classic bridge allows the fixing of the rear brake. The bike is then assembled with Shimano Dura Ace group, consisting of brake controls, sprocket, chain, gear, derailleur and crank. The latter is equipped with SRM power meter. Also in the group Dura Ace pedals. The tubes are Continental. The wheels are assembled on high-profile carbon rims, but can also be used different rims. The saddles are Fi'zi: k, which vary from athlete to athlete, according to their preferences. Stem and handlebar are in aluminum always Shimano, Pro line are. The bottle cage are resin Elite. Overall, a bike that has not changed compared to last year, remains competitive even though some competitors seem to be able to do better especially at component level.
