BicyclesProf. bike: Matteo Tosatto’s Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL2 Team Quick-Step
Team Quick-Step uses Specialized bikes by many years and for the season 2009 was adopted the frame S-Works Tarmac SL2. The sheaths of tall rear are very slender and are separated until the junction with the tube vertical and horizontal. The box of the bottom bracket is well designed, but not excessively so. The top tube is flattened and larger near the dinghy steering bearings with the diameter differential. The fork is always a monocoque structure, with the sheaths from the classic curvilinear trend. The bike on photos is by Matteo Tosatto. As with all the bikes the team adopts the Campagnolo group Record 11 speed, with controls, 53/39 crank, brakes, chain, sprockets 11/23 pack, rear and front derailleur. The wheels are Roval, Specialized’s brand, high-profile carbon on back and low-profile on front. The handlebar FSA Energy is a light alloy and as the stem FSA OS-140. The seatpost is FSA in carbon, Model K-Force. The bottle cage is always Specialized, while the tubolars and the saddle have no brand of recognition. The ciclocomputer is the well know Polar CS series. |
