BicyclesPro Bikes: Mark Cavendish's Specialized Shiv Team HTC-HighRoad
Team HTC-HighRoad uses Shiv Specialized bike time trials, cycling through pictures we see of Mark Cavendish. We have already talked about the Specialized frame Shiv, here we look at how HTC-HighRoad has completed the bike and the main difference with the teams Astana and SaxoBank, which use the same frame. The HTC-HighRoad used Shimano Dura Ace Di2 group set. The batteries can be placed behind saddle or under the rear triangle. The group includes the controls, sprocket, chain, rear and front derailleur. The Dura Ace crankset is, complete with SRM power detector, is therefore not used much lighter crankset Specialized. The brakes are, however, Specialized, as they are incorporated into the structure of the frame. The wheels are high profile in carbon, but without giving the name and complete tubular Continetal. The saddle Fi'zi:k, and aerobar Pro, Satellite model, is therefore not used aerobar Specialized. The pedals are always Dura Ace and do not miss driving chain. Again a nice bike and very good performance, but heavy for the adoption of the Shimano Dura Ace Di2 and other lightweight components. Among the three teams (Astana, SaxoBank and HTC) the best bike is without doubt one of the SaxoBank team, more prepared, though the differences are minimal.
