Team Astana is one of three teams that take the bike Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL3. Again all the athletes use the same technical material. The frame is the same Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL3, also established in the teams HTC- High Road and SaxoBank, which we have already spoken. The Astana cycling team is assembled with the Sram Red group with controls, brakes, sprocket, chain, front and rear derailleur. The Specialized crankset is equipped with SRM power detector. The pedals are Look Keo Carbon Blade. The FSA K-Force seatpost is carbon fiber, with Team Edition Saddle Selle Italia. The stem is always FSA OS-99 CSI while handlebar FSA K-Force is. The bottle cage is made of carbon fiber. The wheels are chosen in the catalogue Corima, almost all use the MCC+ lightweight carbon monocoque construction. It's the lightest and most refined of the Specialized Tarmac SL3, the proof is that all bikes must be weighted down to below the limit of 6.8kg UCI. A beautiful bike that has a plus not indifferent in the wheels, sliding, rigid and with a very small force of inertia that makes the sprint. A perfect bike.
