Specialized is working on an evolution of his model Carve: Carve 29er 2012.

The new bike is based on a frame of aluminum tubes in different thickness, Tig welded, obviously. New tapered headset and frame geometry, specifically for 29 inch wheels. The frame has a sloping rear triangle very pronounced and a compact, one of the new trends of 29er bikes. Only the frame should have a weight of about 1.8 kg, which is not much content. Although this news will be officially presented at Eurobike 2011.
