As anticipated Specialized will debut at the Tour de France with new Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL4. A refinement of the old Tarmac SL3 has saved 50 grams on the weight of the frame. This result was achieved with a different lamination and layering of carbon fiber. At the same time frame rigidity has increased by 19%. New headset, upgraded to the new standard 1-1/8 +1-3/8, it is usually also the new fork, the fork just thinner and lighter. New internal cable and the new section of the top tube and horizontal tube, though maintain a look similar to the previous SL3. The geometry of the frame are identical to those of Venge. It remains the traditional seatpost and very similar to the previous SL3 is the rear triangle.
