Secteur is a new 2010 model Specialized that fits in the range of granfondo bikes. If the model that represents the top of the range is the Roubaix Specialized, dedicated to "crunching miles" the Secteur forms the base, with similar characteristics to Roubaix, but at a cheaper price. The new aluminum frame is double thickness with a long head tube to allow a more elevated and relaxed driving position. The series is classic steering bearing 1 inch and 1/8, while the fork is carbon fiber with Zertz inserts, anti vibration. Even the tubes of seat stay are carbon fiber inserts and anti vibration. Classical section of the tube and the tube, in accordance with the size of the bottom bracket. Horizontal pipe, however, is slightly arched. Available in 6 different sizes have geometries that lead to a more elevated position in the saddle and comfortable compared to classical canons. The bike, then, is assembled with Shimano 105 group, with controls, front and rear derailleur, compact crank, sprocket, chain and brakes. The seatpost is the Specialized Pavé, carbon fiber inserts anti vibration and the saddle is always Specialized. Stem and handlebars are made of aluminum. The wheels are Mavic rims, assembled and adopt Specialized tires. The bike has assembled such a price of around 1390 Euro. A fair price in line with the characteristics of the model, not light, but excellent for comfort. As an excellent entry level bike, even a certain level, suitable for those who prefer to focus on comfort over long distances to pure performance, in terms of stiffness and low weight. To emphasize, then, good scores on the used market Bike Specialized, although in this case it is a niche bike, which could have difficulty in being re-sold in more. Apart from this a reliable bike, with components proportional to the price of the bike and functional mission of this model.
