The collection of clothing dedicated to Mtb Alpinestars Techstar are complete, right to the Down Hill.

Techstar Jersey: the long-sleeved shirt is available in different sizes and matching graphics. It's made of perforated polyester fiber, to improve the ventilation. The fit is wide, while the back is long to better cover his back. In size L has a weight of 200 grams, as observed with our instrumentation.
Techstar Pant: pants are made of Cordura, Polyester and network with perforated inserts. A series of reinforced nylon inserts are placed in areas of increased wear. A series of openings and Mesh panel allows for more ventilation. The closure is Velcro, zippers and buttons. They are available in different colors and sizes. To the extent L have a weight of 1 kg, as observed with our instrumentation.

The road test

The Alpinestars Techstar is well made and cared for. The shirt has a simple construction, but well-made seams. He has a fit wide and long, so I can stay well above the caps. Excellent use of a finely perforated fabric, fully breathable. The pants are heavy, but perfect for the degree of protection that they offer. They have a perfect fit in this case and also allow easy insertion of the protections. Their closure is excellent. It's a product intended to Down Hill and in this environment we have tested. The hot pants are sweat, while the breathable mesh is excellent. The pants, however, have convinced us by their resistance to shocks and their ability to protect the body. In not hamper movement and remain still in place. Do not tear easily, even bumping against the branches or in simple falls. I am a very strong product for the Down Hill, both competitive and recreational, for their own protection and resistance, which also translates the longevity. The mesh is effective as a garment to put on caps, as it should be, covers well and leaves breathe out the sweat. A perfect addition to the Down Hill, both competitive and recreational. The full price is about 50 Euro and 160 Euro for the shirt to the pants. A fair price for their quality.
